    Ruahine AFC will honour one outstanding coach from grades 7 & 8, and one from grades 9-13, at the end-of-season prize-giving.  If you would like to nominate your coach this award, please fill out this nomination form by Saturday 12 September 2020.
    There are two categories for the Coach of the Year Awards - 7-8th Grades and 9-13th Grades

    Ruahine AFC will honour one player, from the 9th grade age group and above* with the 2020 Ruahine AFC Martin Hazelton Fair Play Award at the end-of-season prize-giving.  If there are any players on your team that you would like to nominate for this award please complete this nomination form by Saturday 12 September 2020.

    * The age group refers to the level at which the player competed (as opposed to their calendar age)

    Ruahine AFC will honour someone within the club with the 2020 Ruahine AFC Tremaine Energy Centre Club Spirit Award at the end-of-season prize-giving.  This award recognises the 'over-and-above commitment' to our club community - a worthy acknowledgement indeed!  Please note nominations are open to anyone within the club (players, parents, managers, coaches, volunteers).  Nominations must be made by Saturday 12 September 2020

    Ruahine AFC Team of the Year Award nomination form (7-13th Grades)

    Ruahine AFC will honour a 2020 Ruahine Team from the 7th or 8th grade, and one team from 9-13th grades teams*, at the end-of-season prize-giving.
     
    These Awards will not necessarily go to the teams with the best results (although success on the field will be taken into account).  Rather, they will be given to teams that best satisfy the following criteria:

    • Excellent on-field performance, and/or performance above and beyond expectations;
    • Improvement in skill and performance over the course of the season;
    • Fair play and sportsmanship;
